Welcome to the Terry Taylor website and commentary. First of all, I'd like to tell all of you how happy I am that you've stopped by. This site is in the process of getting more content, more pictures, and more of the "insider" stuff that people want to know. Please check for updates.
Before we go any further, I'd like to thank Andy Anderson for all his hard work in setting up my site. He's worked tirelessly and has promised to make this site something special. ***With my win/loss record - that might be quite a feat!!!**** Honestly, he has been great.
Let's get to the scoops!
The hottest topics in wrestling right now would have to be a close tie between the TNA television situation and the two ECW themed PPV's on 6/10 & 6/12. Shane Douglas and Jeremy Borash are sponsoring the "Hardcore Homecoming" PPV on 6/10. They have made superhuman sacrifices to give true ECW fans an experience that will remind them why they loved ECW in the first place. On the other hand, it seems that the WWE's version of the ECW reunion called "One Night Stand" has ECW fans feeling a bit befuddled. "One Night Stand" will not be just ECW talent, WWE talent has announced that they will be invading "One Night Stand." The one thing Vince McMahon has always said is that the fans decide what they want to see and what they don't. Understanding how vocal ECW fans are and given these two choices - it's going to be an interesting couple of days next weekend!
The wrestling world wants to know (for that matter, I want to know) where will TNA end up on television? Rumors are running wild and everyone has an opinion, but no one really knows at this time. It's an exciting time, but also nerve racking. I believe there's a true need for two major promotions and that the fans want a choice. Most remember with fondness the Monday Night Wars. It was one of the greatest times in history to be a wrestling fan or to be in the wrestling business. The competition brought out the best in both WWE and WCW. In my opinion, the scene is set for the same kind of scenario. Those of us that love this business can only hope.... We are all eagerly awaiting that one special TNA announcement.
If you'd like to read more on this and so many other subjects; please check out the interview I did on Wrestlemag.com. Phil was kind enough to allow me to express my thoughts and I enjoyed doing the interview. That's about it for now.
